Chef Mari Wills is a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) who was born and raised on O'ahu, Hawai'i. Chef Mari has a Master of Science in Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island, a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, and an Associate of Science in Culinary Arts from Kapi'olani Community College. Chef Mari competed on Season 1 of Kitchen Scraps, Hawai'i's first cooking competition show!
While working as a kitchen researcher, Chef Mari recognized a niche at the intersection of culinary craft and evidence-based nutrition. Inspired by this synergy, she founded Bite Logic, a culinary nutrition consulting business dedicated to aiding food manufacturers in elevating their products' nutritional profiles without compromising on flavor.
Throughout her extensive career, Chef Mari has learned the nuances of recipe and product development and gained profound knowledge of FDA food label compliance. Chef Mari believes in a logical approach to culinary nutrition, blending scientific insights with gourmet techniques, ensuring that every consumer enjoys a balance of taste and health in every bite.
